Six presidents of universities in the French region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’ Azur recently signed an agreement to create an inter-university institute for Jewish studies and culture, according to the French newspaper Le Monde. The accord brings to fruition six years of work by a team of academics and researchers affiliated with the three universities of Aix-Marseille.
