Sixteen Israeli legislators from the Labor Party signed a petition calling on their colleagues not to initiate a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for several months. After party leader Ehud blasted the proposal, initially suggested by former Prime Minister Shimon Peres, the Labor Knesset faction agreed to discuss the petition again if and when Netanyahu reaches an agreement with the Palestinian Authority.
