Following Interior Minister Sano Mach’s disclosure that “Aryanization” of Jewish property in Slovakia has been temporarily suspended owing to corruption, a new decree prohibits transfer of Jewish property exceeding 500 crowns in value without written authorization of the Central Economic Office, subject to a payment of 20 percent of the property’s value, it was reported here today.
