Slovak President Rudolf Schuster reportedly turned down two recent offers from Argentina to hunt down Nazis who fled there from Slovakia after World War II. Argentine President Fernando de la Rua made the offer at a Holocaust conference in Switzerland in January 2000 and then again earlier this month, during Schuster’s state visit to Argentina, according to reports in the Slovak press. Schuster’s office denied the reports.
