The Slovak Justice Ministry has announced that a decree is in preparation declaring a moratorium on debts to Jews, it was reported from Bratislava today It was stated that the decree was regarded as a means of depriving prospective Jewish emigrants of a considerable part of their emigration capital.
The president of the Slovak Grain Merchants Association informed a general meeting the 40 Jewish firms still existed in the Slovak grain trade but measures would be taken shortly to eliminate them.
