It was reported from Bratislava today that the Slovakian Government has issued a decree forbidding Jews to employ “Aryan” women under 40 and to possess firearms, ammunition and explosives, which must be surrendered within 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Slovakia’s “Aryanization” program has been seriously impeded by a shortage of “Aryans” qualified to manage Jewish industrial and commercial enterprises affected by the program Joseph Tiso, Slovak premier, admitted in a broadcast yesterday.

Stressing the need for “purifying” Slovak life from Jewish influence, the Premier pointed out, however that the country had a surplus of State officials who could be transformed into businessmen capable of controlling the Jewish enterprises. Thus, by one stroke, Slovakia could solve the problem of excess civil servants and achieve “purification” of its economy he added.
