Slovakian Storm Troopers Placed in Control over Jews

The Hlinka Guard, Slovakian storm troopers organization. has been placed in official control of all anti-Jewish measures in the country, according to an announcement by Sano Mach, Slovakian Minister of the Interior, which appears in the Gardista, Hlinka Guard organ, reaching here today.

The Guards are particularly entrusted with organizing control over Jewish labor camps. M. Kubala, chief of staff, is to supervise the execution of the anti-Jewish measures.

A new decree announced in Slovakia, governing Jewish employment, provides that under no circumstances shall Jews be paid for overtime. This follows a previous order that Jews may not be paid more than 1,500 kronen monthly.
