Minister of the Interior Juraj Slavik of the Czechoslovakian Government-in-Exile in a broadcast to the people of his occupied homeland today warned them not to participate in the puppet Slovakian Government’s present drive against the Jews. He charged that Jews were being deported and sent to their death “to enrich the ‘Aryanizers’ in Slovakia.”

He lauded Slovak railwaymen who, the German press reported this week, were arrested for assisting Jews to flee the country, and urged “every Slovak Christian” to follow their example. Mr. Slavik also counselled his listeners against purchasing confiscated Jewish property, warning that persons who do so will be punished after the country is liberated.
