Victo# Jacobson, the political representative of the Jewish Agency in Geneva, on of the older leaders of Zionism, left Palestine after spending two week here on a visit. Jacobson had no been in Palestine for twenty years his observation is not that Palestine has changed since his last visit but that it has become altogether a ne# country. He told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency representative that while in other countries people are depressed and gloomy, in Palestine he found the Jews happy and smiling even though they have man# difficult problems yet to face. Before leaving Palestine Jacobso# dined with High Commissioner Wauchope with whom he discusse# a number of problems concernin# the Mandate.
