Anti-Semitic propaganda in South Africa was denounced today in a resolution adopted by the Witwatersrand (Transvaal) Church Council.
The resolution warns that race prejudice is dangerous to the welfare of the country and calls on Christian churches to exercise a restraining influence through the pulpit. It also approves the action of many of the country’s leaders in assailing the current anti-Jewish campaign being pressed by pro-Nazi adherents.
