Reporting that two Austrian refugees were building a factory which eventually would employ 2000 workers the Cape Times today appealed for relaxation of red tape and restrictions hampering refugee enterprises and recommended appointment of small advisory committee to deal with such matters. The new factory, situated near Cape Town will produce calico and canvas. Six hundred factories have already been established by refugees in Britain the paper pointed out.
