A campaign for the relief of Jewish war victims will be launched in January by the South African Board of Deputies, it was announced today. The Board, it is understood, will shortly forward an advance of £10,000 for the relief of Polish Jews. The money will be sent to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in New York for distribution in Europe.
