A resolution calling for the up-building of Israel on the “basis of Torah and tradition” was adopted today at the fifth annual conference of the South African Mizrachi organization.
In another resolution, delegates to the parley expressed approval of the projected world rabbinical conference in Jerusalem to “standardize Jewish law.” The need for expanding Mizrachi’s programs in the Union, and for greater representation in the South African Zionist Federation, was also emphasized. Dr. M. Kossowsky was elected president of the Mizrachi organization here.
