The Zionist Federation of South Africa has chartered a special plane for the use of Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, who is now visiting the Jewish community in this country, to make possible Dr. Silver’s meeting his crowded itinerary in the face of a national transportation slow down by South African transportation workers.
Meanwhile, Dr. Silver has visited the Jewish communities of Salisbury and Bulawayo, in Rhodesia, where he was received with great acclaim. He returned here this weekend to address a meeting tonight.
