The Board of Rabbis of Southern California issued a statement here condemning the distribution by mail of “questionable and unsubstantiated material” which impugned the patriotism of two rabbis. The statement accused Paul and Marion Miller of “Outrageous conduct” in mailing the material. Mrs. Miller is a candidate for election to the Los Angeles Board of Education.
“The Board of Rabbis of Southern California has viewed with increasing concern smear-attacks upon two of its honored members,” the statement said. “We here by denounce publicly the action of Paul and Marion Miller for their outrageous conduct in impugning the patriotism of two Rabbis, who are well-known and respected in our community.”
