Current developments in the Middle East, particularly Arab-Israel relations, were discussed at a meeting of the Bureau of the Socialist International which concluded today at Scarborough.
Dr. S. Levenberg represented the Mapai Party of Israel. Among the Socialist leaders present were Clement R. Attlee, former Prime Minister of Britain, the Premiers of Sweden and Holland and the Vice Premier of Austria. Also present was M. Caldwell, chairman of the Canadian Cooperative Commonwealth Federation, who leaves for a visit to Israel next week.
