The Council of the League of Nations which at its March 4th session will consider the national miniorities problem was urged by the Executive Committee of the Socialist International in session here to create a permanent organ for dealing with the minorities’ problems.

The resolution also lays emphasis on the need of protecting the rights of the non-territorial minorities, such as the Jewish. These minorities, the resolution states, need protection to secure equal rights and the freedom to use their own language in their schoos and for the preservation of their culture. Concentrated minorities in certain areas should be guaranteed democratic self-government.
