Leading representatives the Socialist parties of Europe, who are now in the United States, met at the Hotel Pennsylvania, here yesterday to issue a declaration condemning the Nazi atrocities against the Jews in occupied countries. The meeting, which was called by the American Representation of the General Workers Union of Poland, heard messages from C.I.O. president Phillip Murray and A.F. of L. president William Green. Representatives of the Socialist groups of Poland, Austria, Czechoslovakia, France, Norway, Spain, Germany, Hungary and other countries participated.
