Mr. and Mrs. Sam A. Lewisohn gave a dinner at their estate in Harrison, N. Y., on Tuesday evening. Among their guests were Mr. Lewisohn’s father, Adolph Lewisohn, Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Kiorboe, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Lockwood, Mr. Franklin P. Adams (F. P. A.) and Mrs. Adams, Mr. George Hellman, Mr. Bertram Fox, Mrs. Paul Reinhardt, Miss Woddard and Mr. Charles S. Guggenheimer.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Morgenthau gave a dinner on Tuesday evening at their home, Mizzentop, at Bar Harbor, Me., in honor of Governor Louis J. Brann of Maine, and Mrs. Brann.

Governor and Mrs. Herbert H. Lehman have taken a box for the Saratoga races.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Hilson gave a buffet dinner at their home on Ocean avenue, Elberon, N. J., last Saturday night. About forty guests were invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Forsch and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herrman are giving a large beefsteak party at the Hollywood Golf Club on the evening of August 4.

The annual sale for the benefit of the Crippled Children’s East Side Free School which has a summer cam# in ######### planned for September 12 at the home of Mrs. Samuel Bijur on Ocean avenue, Elberon. Last year this event, which drew most of the summer colonists, took place at the home of Mrs. Harry B. Goldsmith. Mrs. Arthur Lehman is president of the board. Others actively engaged in aiding this charity are Mrs. Alfred Steckler Jr., of Elberon, and Mrs. Henry Herrman of Deal.

Mr. DeWitt E. Untermyer is returning to New York on the Ile de France after a short business trip in Europe.
