Miss Manuella Inez Schlager, daughter of the Rev. Simon Schlager, cantor emeritus of Temple Eman-El, was married to Paul Brown of this city. The ceremony at the bride’s home was performed by the Rev. Samuel H. Goldenson, rabbi of Temple Eman-El, and the Rev. Simon Schlager. The bride wore a gown of white lace and a small hat to correspond. She carried a bouquet of lilies of the valleys and gardenias. After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Brown will reside in this city.
Miss Marjorie Baumann, daughter of Mrs. H. Neuburger Baumann, was married this week to Harold Levi, son of Mrs. Carl Levi of 895 Park avenue and the late Mr. Levi. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s ###r, 8 East Ninety-fourth ###t. Dr. Jonah B. Wise offi-###ed. The bride, who was es-###ed by her uncle, Rudolf Neu-###rger, dispensed with attendants.
Many important engagements have been announced this week. Miss Edith Loeb, daughter of Mrs. Julius Ralph Loeb of New York and the late Mr. Lieb, has pledged her troth to William B. Freeman, also of this city. The wedding will take place in the early Winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Feldman have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Edith Feldman to Clement Myerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Myerson of St. Louis. Miss Feldman attended the Froebel League School in this city and Mr. Myerson attended Western Military Academy and Washington University. The wedding will take place in the late autumn.
Mr. and Mrs. Abraham L. Braun of 118 East Ninety-third street have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Isabel Lan Broun to Walter J. Kohnstamm of New York, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jasob H. Kohnstamm of Frankfurt, Germany.
On September 20 Miss Lillian Jacob, daughter of Moe Jacob of 25 East Seventy-seventh stre## was married to Marvin Fox of Youngstown, Ohio, at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. I. E. Kahn, 10 West Ninety-sixth street. The ceremony was performed by the Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
The bride was graduated from the Fieldston School and Wellesley College. Mr. Fox was graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology and is now on the staff of Columbia University. After a short wedding trip the couple will live at the Hyde Park Hotel in this city.
A daughter was born September 22 in Rochester, N. Y., to Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Godowsky Jr., who make their home there and in this city. Mrs. Godowsky is the former Miss Frances Gershwin, daughter of Mrs. Morris Gershwin of this city and the late ###hwin. Mr. Godowsky ### the ###ed pianist,
