Sokolow, Attorney, Dies in Los Angeles

Alexander T. Sokolow, attorney and secretary for the Los Angeles Examiner and prominent member of the Los Angeles bar, died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Stricken three days ago, the attorney did not fully regain consciousness before his death. He is survived by a widow and a 14-year-old son, Norman.

Born in Brooklyn forty-three years ago, he came to Los Angeles in 1914. He had received his legal training at the New York Law School.
