Nahum Sokolow, 73, veteran Jewish statesman and president of the World Zionist Organization, who has been visiting Palestine in the interests of the organization, will fly to Johannesburg, South Africa, in order to preside at the opening of the Keren Hayesod, Jewish Foundation Fund campaign in South Africa.
He will be accompanied by his daughter and will remain in South Africa until July. The Keren Hayesod campaign among the South African Jews will open officially on June 5.
Leib Jaffe, well known Zionist leader and head of the Keren Hayesod, will also be in South Africa for the campaign.
