Dr. Alfred F. Moore, astronomer of the Institution staff, has left for Mount St. Catherine, 12 miles from Mount Sinai, to investigate the possibilities. The Institution is seeking the highest and driest accessible spot in the Eastern Hemisphere, for the purpose of establishing its observatory.
