Sanford Solender has been chosen president of the Undergraduate Scholarship Committee of New York University’s uptown branch, Milton Maurer was elected secretary, The function of the committee, formed several years ago, is to keep the curriculum from becoming antiquated, through suggestions to the faculty.
Solender has played an active part in campus affairs, being on the executive committee of the Liberal Club, an editor of the college newspaper, member of the debating team, and filling other positions. Maurer has distinguished himself in scholarship, securing a place on the “A” honor roll for two successive years. He is a member of the Classical Society and the track team.
