The first Jewish colonist in Motza forty years ago, Samuel Broza, is the first to return to Motza since the riots, it was learned today after a correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency had visited the town. Broza said that his Arab neighbors were still threatening vengeance because one Arab was killed during the riots, this despite the fact that seven Jews were murdered there.
Broza and his family feel lonely without other Jews, he said, but he started to rebuild with renewed energy. Broza won prizes for his fruit and fowl at every agricultural show in Palestine since 1920.
