A call for closer cooperation between the Board of Deputies of British Jews and other Jewish organizations in this country was issued here today by Solly Teff as this leader was elected unanimously as president of the Board. He told the meeting at which he was chosen that he believes “that such consultation and cooperation is possible and can be of constructive value without in any way impairing the standing and authority or, indeed, maintaining the character of the Board as representative of Anglo-Jewry.”
