Solomon Levitan, Treasurer of the State of Wisconsin, has been elected honorary president for life of the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers.

A new congregation, the conservative Sinai Synagogue, has been founded in South Bend, Indiana, by Rabbi Philip S. Greenstein, who resigned from the pulpit of the Sons of Israel synagogue to assume his new post.
