The Executive of the Polish Zionist Federation offered its resignation and the Party Council was dissolved in a serious difference of opinion which was created in the Polish Zionist Federation on account of the resignation of Dr. Soloweitschik from the Executive of the World Zionist Organization.
A resolution was offered to the Party Council by Deputy Greenbaum, president of the Executive, expressing regret at Dr. Soloweitschik’s resignation. The Party Council, however, rejected this resolution and adopted instead a resolution expressing confidence in the World Zionist Executive. As a result of this resolution, the Executive of the Polish Zionist Federation offered its resignation, which was, however, rejected by the Party Council. Deputy Greenbaum, as president of the Executive, dissolved the Party Council, and has issued a call for a new party conference to be held next July.
