The place of youth in the American-Jewish scene was the central theme of a series of Jewish youth rallies in the form of panel discussions which were held last week in the Y. M.-Y. W. H. A.’s of Fall River, Brockton and Lynn, Mass., Dr. Mordecai Soltes, national director of education of the Jewish Welfare Board, who acted as discussion leader, reported yesterday.
The Jewish community center, Jewish education and philanthropy, and the relationship of Jewish youth to the synagogue, Zionism and anti-Semitism were among the subordinate topics considered.
Participants in the talks in Brockton numbered ten, in Lynn nine and in Fall River six.
