Some 150 diplomats and economic officials from around the world converged on the Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv for a conference aimed at boosting economic cooperation in the Middle East. Participants include former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, Egyptian Foreign Minister Amre Moussa and former South African President F.W. de Klerk. During the conference, attendees are expected to announce the formation of a $60 million fund to finance joint Israeli-Palestinian technology projects.
