Some 27 percent of recent female immigrants from the former Soviet Union say veteran Israelis view them as prostitutes, according to a poll conducted for the Jewish Agency for Israel. Thirteen percent of the 503 women interviewed said they had experienced sexual harassment at work, while half said Israeli media portray them in a negative light.
