Some 300 demonstrators assembled Saturday night in front of the Soviet Embassy in The Hague to call for the release of Jewish POCs in the Soviet Union. The demonstrators, who were carrying torches and portraits of 35 imprisoned Jews, tried to hand over a petition to Soviet diplomats but were turned back. Several Dutch parliamentarians participated in the demonstration as well as in the one-hour vigils held for the past few days in front of the Embassy building.
