Some 3,000 of the 5,000 El Al employes and their families demonstrated at the airline’s main offices at Ben Gurion Airport Wednesday. They were protesting management plans to reorganize the airline with a smaller staff and lower salaries, or close down the airline completely by the end of this month. El Al planes have been grounded for the past month.
