Some 40 additional Yuogslav Jews arrived in Israel on what is being called a “pre-aliyah” visit. Their arrival came as representatives for Yugoslav Jewish refugees are accusing the Israeli government of placing obstacles in their way of immigrating to Israel. A Jewish Agency for Israel official told the Knesset Absorption Committee this week that Yugoslav Jews temporarily living in Budapest are being asked to prove they are Jewish.
