Some 50 pro-Palestinian demonstrators tried Monday night to disrupt a seminar organized by the Belgian Jewish Students Union at Brussels University. The demonstrators, who wore steel helmets and carried truncheons and chains, were beaten back by the audience. The seminar was able to continue after a brief interruption. Two of the attackers were arrested by police and several of the Jewish students who attended the meeting were injured.
