Some 50,000 Israelis gathered in the Tel Aviv square where Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated to demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resign in order to save the peace process. The rally, held on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the historic handshake between Rabin and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat on the White House lawn, was held under the slogan, “Netanyahu Go Home.”
