Some 550 teen-agers from Israel’s kibbutzim biked through southern Jordan on their annual “peace trek.” The youths rode to the border with Saudi Arabia and asked border guards to accept a message of peace for Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd. When the guards refused, the youths put the message in a bottle and tossed it into the Red Sea.
