Some 6,000 Jews converged on a Moscow park to attend a daylong celebration marking Israel’s jubilee. The event, organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel, included dancing, singing and a lottery drawing for a 10-day trip to Israel. Dozens of Jewish communities throughout Russia have held jubilee celebrations in recent months.
