Some $88 million was raised for a center focusing on cutting-edge technology at an Israeli university. The money for the nanotechnology center at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa includes a $26 million contribution from the New-Jersey based Russell Berrie Foundation and an additional $26 million by the Israeli Government.
