Some local leaders are protesting as courthouses and schools in Kentucky began taking down their copies of the Ten Commandments this week. It’s a “dark and shameful day. That’s communism. That’s atheism,” one local pastor was quoted as saying. The removals came after a judge ruled that posting the laws violated the constitutional separation between church and state.
