Dr. George Kohut, Executive Director of the Alexander Kohut Memorial Foundation, announces the publication of a volume of Studies in memory of the late Chief Rabbi H. P. Chajes of Vienna, issued on the fifth anniversary of his death, December 13th, 1932.
The volume contains important scientific papers on a variety of subjects in which Dr. Chajes himself was deeply interested. The foremost Jewish scholars in Europe and America and several from Palestine have combined to honor the memory of this great leader, who has done so much for Jewish learning and who himself made many vital contributions to scholarship. The book covers seven hundred and forty pages.
