Durar Nashashibi, 21, son of Mayor Rhageb Bey Nashashibi, has been committed to confinement in the district court here yesterday for participating in unlawful riots which are prohibited by the seditious offences ordinance.

The British constable R. U. C. Mott described in testimony being gathered by a special commission investigating the recent riot disturbances, how timely intervention by an Arab policeman saved his life on Oct. 29. Mr. Mott had been overpowered and knocked down by a mob and by firing his gun, the policeman had warded off the attack.
