Leonard Gollancz, son of Rabbi Sir Herman Gollancz, was killed yesterday when he fell from a hotel window. He was 35 years old. His mother, who was at the hotel when the body was discovered, suffered a stroke.
Rabbi Gollancz, who is 77, is just emerging from an illness of several years, and has been devoting himself to urging relief for the Palestine victims.
It is believed that Leonard Gollancz, who was suffering from nervous strain, met his death by suicide.
