Joseph Kraemer, Grandmaster of the Order Sonos of Zion, will sail tomorrow on the Rex for a seven-weeks’ trip to Palestine. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Kraemer and the latter’s sister, Kate Kupperman.
Last night Mr. Kraemer was feted by executive board members of the Order at a farewell dinner in New York. Speaking of his trip, he declared:
“As a life-long Zionist, I am naturally eager to see the historic homeland that is now being recreated in Palestine.
“The Order Sons of Zion from its very existence has been concerned with the material and spiritual rebuilding of the Jewish homeland. I shall further investigate its potentialities, particularly that of Kfar Ussishkin, to which our Order has already subscribed $20,000, and report back to our membership upon my return.
