Regret at the postponement of the extraordinary session of the Mandates Commission because such action is calculated to delay the final pacification of Palestine was expressed by Lucien Wolf, secretary of the Joint Foreign Committee of the Board of Jewish Deputies and the Anglo-Jewish Association, in presenting the report of his committee to the Board of Deputies. He did however, recognize the need for a thorough investigation, and he reported that the Committee, in agreement with other Jewish organizations was considering steps for the adequate defence of Jewish interests before the Commission of Inquiry.
