South African Jews are criticizing Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe for accusing them of trying to control Zimbabwean factories. “Jews in South Africa, working in cahoots with their colleagues here, want our textile and clothing factories to close down,” Mugabe was quoted as saying last week. Mugabe is “using whites, or Jews as synonyms of whites,” to garner more support, said Russell Gaddin of the South African Board of Jewish Deputies.
