Renewal of the agreement under which the South African Jewish War Appeal participates in the relief and rehabilitation activities of the Joint Distribution Committee was announced today by Edward M.M. Warburg, chairman of the J.D.C.
Under the terms of the agreement, which is the same as that signed one year ago my representatives of the two agencies, the South African group will contribute a minimum of $1,600,000 to the activities of the J.D.C. The new agreement will run from May 1, 1946, to May 1, 1947.
