South African Zionist Leader Sees Transjordan Pact Aiding Israel-arab Relations

The conclusion of the armistice pact between Israel and Transjordan opens the path to peace, reconstruction and friendly relations between the Arab states and Israel, Bernard Gering, chairman of the Zionist federation of South Africa, declared here upon his return from a month’s visit to Israel. He also reported that the news of Turkey’s recognition of the Jewi3h state has received with satisfaction by the Israeli public.
