The Zionist Federation of South Africa, through its official organ “The Zionist Record,” today voiced opposition to any partition of Palestine and emphasized that it continues to support the demand for the establishment of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth.

“Although the reports about the new partition scheme suggest that this plan provides more territory for the Jews than was provided under the pre-war partition plan, nevertheless we consider any kind of partition as partition. We stand where we always stood. We re-affirm our support for the Biltmore Declaration,” the Zionist Record writes.
