The decision was taken at a meeting also attended by representatives of the South African Board of Jewish Deputies and the South African Jewish War Appeal, both which pledged their full support. The meeting, which promised all aid to the Hamanah and none to groups not submitting to Zionist discipline, expressed the hope ## a united Zionist front would be formed.
